In Tegucigalpa we dream of a waste management facility that would inspire the rest of the world in environmentally sound ways of disposing of waste. Additionally, this waste management facility would employ people in a safe, healthy environment and offer a living wage. Adults would replace child laborers, machinery, bare hands, and a savings account instead of their daily ration.
We dream of a positive school environment that would lead Honduras in such things as alternative education, computer training, environmental education, and provide even the poorest of the poor the opportunity to study wherever their chose for their university.
We dream of a growing Christian movement that would so attractive it would draw in it’s surrounding like a beautiful cyclone, and would teach, train, and inspire Christians in the United States.
We dream of a community center that would offer psychological counseling and career networking for people of the dump, and would also serve as the nexus of a well-organized and delightful community of dignified housing for those who previously resided in trash.
We dream of a model development project that would be visited by development workers from dump communities all around the world.
